Marc Shapiro has written the biography of Goldie Hawn titled "Pure Goldie: The Life and Career of Goldie Hawn" which was published in 1998.

In 2005 Hawn published her autobiography named "A Lotus Grows in the Mud" which is described as a "very personal, spiritual reflection of her life."

Hawn married actor and director Gus Trikonis in 1969 and after five years they took divorce in 1974.

Goldie later married an American musician Bill Hudson in 1975. They together have a son named Oliver Hudson born 1976 and a daughter named Kate Hudson born 1979. After five years the couple took divorce in 1980.

Goldie Hawn has been in relationship with famous Hollywood actor Kurt Russell and they together have a son named Wyatt Russell born in 1986.

Goldie became a grand mother to Ryder born to her daughter Kate and Wilder born to her son Oliver.

She is good friends with Hollywood actress Sally Field.

Hawn started Cosmic Entertainment with daughter Kate Hudson, son Oliver Hudson and Kurt Russell in 2003.

In April 2004, Goldie being a Buddhist introduced His Holiness Dalai Lama, Tibetan people's spiritual leader at the "Tribute to the Dalai Lama" concert at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre.

She is the founder of the Bright Light Foundation for Children. The institute teaches the Buddhist techniques of mindfulness training which includes mindful awareness and positive thinking skills.
